Our weekly mindfulness sessions are free to anyone, experienced or not, and are secular (non-religious). They are all drop-ins and do not require registering ahead of time. They are led by a rotating group of experienced meditators, several of whom are teachers of mindfulness meditation, all of whom are volunteering their time. The Calendar page will tell you who’s leading which sessions. Note that changes in leaders may occur. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome.
The format for each gathering varies. The one-hour sessions (Mon & Tues evenings) includes two 20-minute (+/-) guided mindfulness meditations and opportunities for teachings, and discussions. Some sessions include short readings, poems, quotes, or talks by the leader. The 30 and 40 minute sessions include a 20-25 minute guided meditation, followed by opportunities to check-in, ask questions, or hear a relevant poem or quote.
No registration is required. Just come via Zoom or in-person on Tuesday evenings.
